Management of liver disease in adults is a challenging task, but managing it in special populations, such as pregnant women, children, and the elderly population, is a ball in a different court altogether. Physiological changes during aging, and pregnancy, including the complex interaction between the mother and the fetus, and the developing state of the children, present a very complex problem to the healthcare profession. In this module, let us look at the different aspects of liver diseases in special populations.
