To maintain optimal physiological function in the body, sodium is a necessary nutrient. However, the increased consumption of junk food and other preserved foods has increased the consumption of added salts. Therefore, reducing salt intake decreases blood pressure and lowers the chance of developing cardiovascular disease (CVD). Join us in this session to learn more about the association between salt intake and CVD protection.
