Dr. Chittaranjan Kar is Professor of Nephrology at Sriram Chandra Bhanj (SCB) Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack. He is in charge of the Renal Transplant Programme. He is also in charge of the Post Doctoral Certificate in Dialysis Medicine course of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) under the aegis of the Government of India's Ministry of Health. In addition to his teaching and clinical responsibilities at SCBMCH, Dr. Kar consults at The Kidney Clinic located near the Municipal Hospital in Bhubaneswar, and the Eastern Kidney Foundation at Samantarapur, Bhubaneswar. Dr. Chittaranjan Kar received special transplant training at PGIMER Chandigarh. He is a member of several medical associations in India.
