Dr. Elizabeth KE is a Professor and HOD, Department of Paediatrics at Govt. Medical College, Trivandrum. She has 30 years of experience as a clinician, researcher and medical teacher. She graduated with first rank and gold medals in Medicine and Community Medicine from the University of Kerala and took postgraduation and doctorate from the same university. She was awarded fellowship of Indian Academy of Pediatrics in 2004. She had special training from NIN, Hyderabad, Leeds teaching Hospital, St. James University, UK and Karolinska Sweden. She is the author of several national & international papers and textbooks. She has won several honours and awards for research and community work. She is a life member of professional and social organizations like IMA, IAP, NNF, CMAI.
