Dr. Mahesh Verma

Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Director - Principal of Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi Awardee of Padma Shri for his immense contribution in the field of dental sciences. First Doctor to bring about dental awareness through his team in the form of Dental Health Mela organised every year in the city of Delhi. Instrumental in setting up the best dental Institute of the country, currently known as a "Centre of Excellence" treating thousands of underprivileged and common citizens every day in a "State of the Art" modern facilities. A recipient of Dr. B. C. Roy highest National Medical Award by President of India in the year 2008 and other awards including Fellowships from many national and international organizations and academic bodies. Currently involved along with IIT Delhi to develop indigenous dental Implant under CSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
